        We didn't exactly rough it, as I picked Holmsley as it's a campsite with takeaway and cafe. And we found a pub for lunch on Friday. Is that cheating?

          In my defence, we did the important bit - we slept outside under canvas! I slept better than I expected to, although I didn't look like it!

            We spent hours just playing around the tent - chucking a frisbee, kicking around a football, throwing and catching things. It was lovely.

                We came across so many animals in the New Forest - horses, donkeys, ponies, cows, sheep, even some llamas (or were they alpacas?) (But we didn't get close enough to get pictures unless there was a fence between us!)
