The pandemic wasn’t good for my health. Never leaving the house meant I did no exercise. Poor coping strategies for stress & depression meant I over-ate junk food. By July, I weighed an alarming heavier-than-ever 105kg and couldn’t fit in most of my clothes.

The summer was a reboot in lots of ways. One way was undoing what I did to my body over the last 2 years - with a goal of losing 30kg. It’s working - I’ve lost 23kg so just 7kg to go. More importantly my mental health, although harder to measure, is in a better place.
