  1. my train back from London has stopped at Woking and apparently isn’t going to Winchester (where my car is) any more because of a trespasser on the line near Winchester 😩

      the train is off again - we’re taking a different route, avoiding Winchester, and going to Southampton pro: that’s nearer to home than Woking con: my car is still at Winchester station sigh 😞

        finally arrived at Southampton (a few hours after leaving Kafka Summit) Now I just need to get back to Winchester station… this has not been the optimum route home

          gave up after the second Southampton-Winchester train got cancelled and got an uber instead - must’ve been the last person to do that cos surge pricing was in full force by that point 😬
